How to Choose the Right Home Lift Company in Pakistan

Buying a home lift is a significant investment — one that your family will rely on for years or decades. The company you choose matters enormously. Here is a practical guide to evaluating home lift companies in Pakistan and making sure you are making the right choice.
Questions to Ask Every Company
1. Where is the lift manufactured?
This is the most important question. A company that sells fully imported, unbranded Chinese lifts with no local service infrastructure is a very different proposition from a company with genuine after-sales support. Ask specifically: where are the parts sourced from, and are spare parts kept in stock locally?
2. Who will service the lift after installation?
Ask for the contact details of their service team. Ask how quickly they can respond to a service call. Ask whether they have technicians in your city. If the answer is vague, that is a red flag.
3. Can you see completed installations?
Any reputable company should be able to show you photos or even arrange visits to completed projects. At Lift Me Pakistan, we have a portfolio of over 100 installations across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad and we are proud to show every one of them.
4. What exactly does the warranty cover?
Get the warranty terms in writing. A "1 year warranty" that excludes parts, labour, or specific components is not a real warranty. A genuine warranty should cover parts and labour for at least one year with no hidden exclusions.
5. What is included in the quoted price?
Always ask for a fully inclusive quote. Installation, civil work, electrical work, testing, training, and first-year service should all be clearly stated. Low base prices that exclude these items are a common sales tactic.
Red Flags to Watch For
- No physical office or showroom in your city
- Unable to provide references from past clients
- Vague or verbal-only warranty terms
- No clear answer on where spare parts come from
- Price that seems significantly below market rate with no explanation
- Pressure to sign quickly or pay a large deposit immediately
